In this status, the user’s IEC is suspended due to various concerns such as sensitivity of the traded goods, national security, defense goods to be traded, etc. The user needs to contact the authoritative DGFT so that authority will take necessary action to revoke it.
In this status, the user’s IEC is cancelled due to incorrect information provided by the user or some other concerns. The user needs to contact DGFT so that the authority will take certain action to revoke it.

For viewing your IEC profile, you need to visit the DGFT portal. In this portal, you need to register your business on the website by generating the OTP on your registered email address or mobile number. On entering your valid login credentials, you will get to view your dashboard .
After login into the portal, you’ll proceed to click on ‘My IEC’ on the dashboard or you can explore to navigate through the Menu- Services→Importer Exporter Code.
On proceeding with the IEC code, the user needs to click on the View IEC profile tab. There are a total of 9 tabs in the portal and the user will select the button whatever they want to manage their IEC for trading goods internationally.
Upon clicking on View IEC profile, you will further navigate to Select IEC details. In this section, you’ll get information such as IEC number, IEC issuance date, file number, PAN number, DEL status and IEC status of the user. By getting this information the user will be able to get the current status of the user whether they’re eligible to trade goods internationally.
Now select authorisation/scrips details from horizontal bar to view status house details in which you can fill the required about the certificate authority/issuing authority and date of issuance/validity.
In the menu, you will find the Authorisation/Scips tab from the horizontal bar to view authorisation/scripts details. In this section, you will be able to see the details regarding EPCG, AA and DFIA.
On selecting the IEC lifecycle summary tab from the horizontal bar, you will get to know about the life cycle of IEC of the user. On clicking this tab, you will see the current status of IEC registration. The tab includes the details in sequence wise starting from the date, Order type, Order Number, Action Taken By and Remarks.
