Use of NIC Code
There are two important segments where the NIC Code is needed:
- Udyam Registration: To register your business on Udyam Portal, it is mandatory to provide your NIC Code. The process includes registration of MSME on Udyam Portal under MSME Development Act, 2005
- Company/LLP Formation: To declare your company valid you need to register it under MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs). For registration purposes it is required to provide your NIC Code while registering under MCA.
