Steps to Generate Make in India Certificate

Follow the steps below to generate your certificate:

  • Step 1: Enter Company Name

    At the initial step, you need to enter your Company Name. It should have accurate spelling and wording that represent your business. Wrong company name filing may lead to fake representation and decrease the chances of Government procurements.

  • Step 2: File your Bid number

    In the second column you need to fill in your GeM Bid/RA number that is provided by the “Government e-Marketplace (GeM)” portal.
    For example – You get a bid number that is “GEM/2022/B/2838501” from the GeM portal and fill this number in this column.

  • Step 3: Add your Address

    Fill the complete address in this column. The address must be in an Indian format. The address should be accurate and the same as your manufacturing unit or place. An accurate address helps gain more trust and credibility.

  • Step 4: Local Content Percentages

    In this column you have to fill your local content percentage.
    For example – You are a table manufacturer and you use 60% of the raw material and other content from local. So, you will fill 60% in this column.

  • Step 5: Click on Generate button

    Once you are done with the complete information, click on the Generate button and you will receive your complete format of the Make in India Certificate.
